vibe engineering

[ vahyb en-juh-NEER-ing ]noun

A proposed name for doing all of this properly: the same tools, but somebody actually reads the code.

Explanation

Coined mostly by people tired of explaining that yes, they do read it. Expect the casual meaning of vibe coding to stick around, and the serious meaning to keep shopping for a new name.
